More than anything my years as a professional Sport Photographer to be followed by Professional Portrait
photography shaped my current approach to Wildlife Photography. I will be honest and admit that the high
speed action shot with a clean studio type background in great light really makes my adrenalin flow, only
when the action is not happening will I start looking for the graphic image.
I was honored in 2007 and 2008 with three first runner up awards in animal behavior and animal general as
well as 2 top 10 certificates in both categories of the Getaway & Fujifilm Photography Awards.
Taking a great photograph is only the beginning. If the photographer does not have the ability to edit the image
to it’s full potential a lot of impact will be lost in the process. My passion for darkroom editing started when
I was 14 years old and I am still today passionate about taking great wildlife images to next level in the
modern day digital light room.
